How to use a Nespresso machine step by step?
Step 1: Fill in the water tank and turn on the coffee machine by pressing either the “Espresso” or “Lungo” button. Coffee machine is ready to use when the button stops blinking. Step 2: Place your cup under the coffee machine nozzle. Step 3: Lift the lever, and insert your capsule of choice into the coffee machine. Press and hold the coffee button. Release the button when the desired cup size is reached. The machine is now programmed with the new cup size. Once the cup size for the capsule is set, it will be used for all subsequent brews.A: The small button is for espressos, which are scant in volume but stronger and more concentrated which I prefer even to add milk to for super strong lattes, the large button is for lungos, more diluted but more coffee in quantity.On a Nespresso® U model, there are three different buttons / cup sizes to choose from – Lungo, Espresso or Ristretto. We recommend a cup size of 100 ml for a Lungo, 40 ml for an Espresso and 25 ml for a Ristretto.
