Is Equal Exchange coffee tested for mold?
In terms of purity, Equal Exchange adheres to organic standards (so no nasty chemicals on the crops) and while they don’t publish mold test results, their quality control is high and they’ve been in the business of clean, sustainable coffee since the 1980s. We are committed to sourcing all of our roast and ground coffee from Fairtrade or Rainforest Alliance certified sustainable sources, where technically possible.
