How do I get Keurig to work?

If you’re using a coffee scoop, this typically equals 1 scoop per 6 ounces. For larger cups, like a 12-ounce mug, you’ll need 2 scoops.You may notice your reusable k-cup only holds about 2 tablespoons of coffee. According to the Specialty Coffee Association of America, that is enough for a 6 oz cup of coffee. Brewing a 10oz or 12oz k-cup will result in a more watered down cup of coffee.

Why not use a Keurig?

Our brewers can function properly with tap water. K-cups provide good and consistent flavor. However, they may not have the strong aroma and rich taste of freshly ground beans. This is because they are pre-ground and sealed. Drip coffee, especially with freshly ground beans, can taste better.While you can put coffee ground for a drip machine through a Keurig, just slightly coarser works a little bit better. Too fine a grind will lead to sediment in your coffee cup, but too coarse will lead to the water rushing through the coffee too quickly and not extracting as much flavor.Check the Water Reservoir and Line The first thing to check is your water reservoir. Make sure it’s filled to the max line and that there are no air bubbles in the water line.
