Why is Starbucks so costly?
Starbucks has pointed to inflation and higher labor costs as the reason for its increased prices. It’s also been able to make more money off of those higher prices. There’s been a big push for them to have a better dynamic with their employees. Switzerland has some of the highest Starbucks prices in the world. I was underwhelmed when I stopped at a Zurich Starbucks to try drinks. My almost $10 iced caramel macchiato was milky and bland, and the cold brew was inconsistent.Israel’s Market Was Too Small for Starbucks The Israeli coffee market, however, was too small to handle such blunders. Not to mention the company chose to open its outlets in Tel Aviv and avoided other cities in Israel. That’s how the market got a little smaller than it should have.

Can I bring my own cup to Starbucks?
When you arrive to the Starbucks store, go the beverage pick up area and give your clean personal cup (without the lid) to the barista. Your beverage will be returned the same way.
