Why is my Nespresso not brewing the correct size?

Clean the coffee outlet and ensure the water tank is full and properly seated. Regular maintenance prevents scale buildup that reduces water volume and affects cup size consistency. Check the Water Reservoir: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh, cold water. On a Nespresso® U model, there are three different buttons / cup sizes to choose from – Lungo, Espresso or Ristretto. Why does my Nespresso machine make so little coffee?
The cause: You probably reprogrammed the machine’s pour volume by accident. Many Nespresso models, like Pixie or Essenza Mini, have a hidden pour volume function. In Nespresso machines, you usually have two buttons corresponding to two sizes — either Espresso or Lungo. If the amount of water has changed on one or all of the coffee buttons, it may be that the automatic settings of the coffee volume has been changed.
