If the water runs down the cup bay (starting from where the red arrows are) it indicates a plate failure. You will most likely also see a puddle of water at the base of your machine. This comes from the water running backwards from the plate and into the machine. Make sure the water tank is correctly attached to the base of the machine. If not correctly positioned, water can escape from between the bottom of the water tank and the machine, seeming to cause a leak.
