Greek yogurt pioneer Chobani has acquired La Colombe for $900 million just a few months after Keurig Dr Pepper’s (KDP) announced its $300 million sales and distribution deal with the ready-to-drink coffee company. La Colombe, known for its ready-to-drink coffee products, is headquartered in Philadelphia. The company moved its canned coffee production to Norton Shores in 2016 and has been rapidly expanding since. Last year it announced a planned $1. Norton Shores.In December 2023, Chobani fully acquired La Colombe for $900 million. As part of the deal, Keurig Dr Pepper had its 33% equity converted to a minority position in Chobani. Chobani took a $550 million loan to fund the acquisition.
