Can you use other pods on Nespresso Vertuo?
The only pods that will work in the Vertuo machine are those with the barcode on the underside of the pod. This tells the machine how much water/ temp/ etc to use. It’s more sophisticated than I thought. So far, we haven’t been able to find any other pods that work in the machine other than the Nespresso brand. The most obvious reason is that Vertuo pods are designed to brew larger cup sizes, such as a full mug or even a carafe.
