How do I prepare my pods for podback recycling?
There’s no need to scoop out your pods, but please drain them of any remaining liquid before putting them in your Podback bag. When you recycle with Podback the coffee grounds are recovered and sent for recycling along with other food wastes. Tranfer the pods to your caddy. Your pods will drain further in the caddy, so tip it to drain the remaining liquid and residue. When you’re ready to put your pods out for collection, transfer the drained pods from the caddy to your recycling bag. Fill the bag to the dotted line and tie the handles securely.Toss the aluminum top (its materials can’t be recycled when soiled), toss or compost the coffee grounds and the paper filter, and then rinse the plastic pod and add it to your recycling bin.
