Where is Jumping Beans from?
mexican jumping beans (spanish: frijoles saltarines) are seed pods that have been inhabited by the larva of a small moth (cydia saltitans) and are native to mexico. If you ever want to make a mexican jumping bean jump, simply hold it in your hand. The heat of your hand will cause the larva inside to move and the seed pod to jump. If you put it in a cool area, it will stop jumping.
