When was Tarrytown Music Hall built?
Built in 1885 during the “Golden Age” of Tarrytown in what was called the “Millionaire’s Colony”, the Music Hall is the oldest theater in Westchester, one of the oldest in the country, and listed on the National Register for Historic Places. It is one of 6% of theaters in the United States built before 1885. The historic Tarrytown Music Hall is an 843-seat theater that is owned, operated, and loved by The Friends of the Mozartina Musical Arts Conservatory, Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, educational and cultural organization established in 1979 and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
