What is a European coffee?
In Europe coffee tends to be some form of espresso or espresso with hot water added, aka an Americano, it took some adjusting for me when we moved over. I prefer pour over/ filter coffee to espresso. While Americans tend to drink coffee in the morning, Europeans drink their espresso anytime throughout the day vs a coffee au lait, which is espresso with a splash of frothed milk (in Spain, called a cortado).
