What are the two buttons on the Nespresso Essenza Mini?
To enter the emptying mode, press both the Espresso and Lungo buttons to turn the machine off. Setting the cup size for Nespresso Inissia® Allow the machine to warm up so it is ready for use. Now open the handle completely and load a coffee capsule. Press and hold the button / function you wish to program (Espresso or Lungo). Release the button when you have reached the desired amount of water.Press and hold the Espresso or Lungo button. Release button once the desired volume is served. LED will blink fast 3 times to confirm new setting. Water volume level is now stored.Place a cup under the spout, then press and hold the cup button you would like to program. Water will begin to flow. Release the cup button when the cup has been filled to your desired level. The machine will produce the same pour next time the button is pressed.Before you get started with your espresso machine, it’s important to run water through the espresso machine and steam wand to flush them out. When the cycle is complete, place a cup under the steam wand and let the water flow through. Your espresso machine is now ready for use.
What do the three buttons on the Nespresso mean?
On a Nespresso® U model, there are three different buttons / cup sizes to choose from – Lungo, Espresso or Ristretto. We recommend a cup size of 100 ml for a Lungo, 40 ml for an Espresso and 25 ml for a Ristretto.
