What is the difference between Kinu M47 and M47 Titan?
The M47 Titan is the same as Classic but with a ribbed body and made in full titanium for a ultra premium look and build. This exclusive M47 Titan, limited to a mere 1991 units, commemorates Kinu’s founding year, celebrating their status as creators of the world’s most exquisite hand grinders. Why the Kinu M47 Titan? The titanium housing not only makes the grinder more durable, but also lighter – with a weight of 1060 g, it is a full 110 g lighter than the M47 Classic. At the same time, the internal grooves ensure an improved feel and an even more pleasant grinding experience. From a practical point of view, the Titan is not much better than the Classic in terms of coffee grinding quality (almost limited to the difference in feel and weight), and the cost performance is not high. As a result, the Titan is more suitable for collectors or brand diehards. What is the difference between the Kinu M47 Simplicity and Classic? The main difference is that the Classic has a stainless steel bean funnel and grind catcher cup while the Simplicity uses ABS plastic. If you’d like the same catch cup as the Classic you can purchase it separately here.
