Are Tassimo pods healthy?
The coffee used in pods is often roasted and ground months before you use it – meaning a coffee brewed from a coffee pod is less healthy than a coffee brewed with freshly roasted and ground beans. It’s a similar story with potential contaminants that can find their way into your coffee. This means that if you reuse it, the machine won’t be able to generate enough pressure to extract coffee properly in the first place. Bottom line: trying to reuse single-serve coffee pods and capsules is a waste of time.
Can you use TASSIMO without pods?
A: You can only use Tassimo Pods. The other poss available for coffee machines are a totally different shape. Tassimo ones are flat and have a bar code on that the machine reads two it knows how much water and the right temperature your chosen drink needs. Nope, you can only use official Tassimo pods in a Tassimo machine.
