Who owns Joe Coffee Company?
Jonathan Rubinstein is the founder of Joe Coffee, a specialty coffee roaster and collection of award-winning cafes in New York City. Jonathan began his career as a talent agent, during which time he noticed that many of the city’s cafes focused more on their decor and atmosphere than on the coffee they served. The Trademark: In 1898, Joe Martinson ran Martinson Coffee in New York City. He was a big personality who brewed a unique blend. They called it “cup of Joe” as a marketing ploy. Later, they trademarked the phrase, and it started catching on with all coffee lovers.joe coffee company was founded in 2003 as a single specialty coffee shop in manhattan’s west village. Our vision was to brew the highest quality coffees and serve them with unsurpassed hospitality.Two decades later, we’ve expanded to over 20 cafes throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Westchester, with our very own roastery in Long Island City.
