Is Breville better than DeLonghi?
In this case, for me it’s a bit of a toss up. I honestly like the performance a bit better on the Delonghi, and I really appreciate the included water and bean sensor. But, the tamper is not as good as the Breville, and it’s a big disadvantage that the bean hopper is not removable. I don’t know what happened to Delonghi, they used to rule the market but the small details are lacking in their mid range models. I do like them a little more for reliability (overall) and they are sometimes much easier to repair compared to Breville (A nightmare for me to work on).
