How does Podback work?
First the pods are shredded to remove the coffee, then the empty pods are reprocessed to be used in the manufacture of new products. If you are using in-store drop-off you need a Podback bag. These are available when you buy your pods from a member brand. They can also be picked up from Customer Services in branches of Morrisons Supermarkets and from your barista at Costa Coffee in Tesco and Starbucks Coffee Shops. Is Podback free?
The service is free. Podback will send you two rolls of bags for recycling your aluminium OR plastic coffee pods along with instructions. If you use NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto pods, you will also be offered a storage caddy when you first create your online account. Recycling bags are available for free with every purchase of Nespresso capsules, and across 48 states, you can drop off the bags of used capsules at one of 88,000 UPS locations or of one 500 collection points that are in Nespresso Boutiques and select retail partners.NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® pods can be recycled using the Podback Scheme. The Podback recycling bag has been designed to make recycling pods prepared from your NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® machine a breeze.
