How do I get my Keurig to brew?
Brewing your favorite cup is easy: Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup® pod into the pod holder. Lower the handle completely to close the lid (do not remove the foil lid from the pod). For high-altitude brewing: Hold the handle up and press the K-Cup® pod gently down into the holder until punctured. There are 2 possible problems. The first is you did not punch a hole in the bottom of the K cup when you inserted the K cup or it is clogged as previously mentioned. Most people just close the lid but if the plastic is too strong the needle may not make a hole. Press the cup down before you close the lid may help.

Make sure it’s filled to the max line and that there are no air bubbles in the water line. Mineral buildup from hard water can clog these components, preventing the water from reaching the right temperature or flowing into the brew basket[^2^].Check that the brew basket is seated and the paper filter is not folded or blocking flow. If only the coffee pod side isn’t working: Make sure no used pod is stuck inside. Check the pod holder and remove it for cleaning if needed.
