Does Nespresso offer a recycling program?

We have more than 100,000 collection points around the world, convenient courier and postal services, and Recycle@home initiatives in 18 countries. Under the Recycling Rewards program, customers can return 100 used capsules of any brand and in return, they are entitled to either a notebook made with recycled coffee grounds, a reusable beach towel or a sleeve of Nespresso coffee.Nespresso Capsule Recycling Each bag can hold up to 200 OriginalLine or 100 VertuoLine capsules. Once filled, you can return this bag at no charge via UPS.That’s because Nespresso capsules are not pure aluminium, which is widely recycled — they have silicon lining, so the capsules need a bespoke recycling process. Still, trying to motivate consumers to be greener, the company even provides free return bags for the capsules you might buy.We make it easy to recycle, and provide free recycling bags with each order with a pre-paid return shipping label. You may also drop your used capsules at any Nespresso Boutique, Crate & Barrel, or Williams Sonoma.The service is free. How do I empty Nespresso pods for recycling?
Depending on your location, you can easily recycle your used Nespresso capsules via Black Bag, Blue Bin or Boutique. All customers in the continental US have access to free UPS-labeled black recycling bags for mailing back used capsules. Nespresso are recycled. They transported to a factory that splits the grounds from the aluminium. How do I prepare my pods for podback recycling?

No, the capsule can be recycled if it still contains coffee grounds. Customers can, of course, choose to empty their capsules before placing them in the blue bag if they wish to use the grounds as fertiliser, for example.Nespresso professional capsules can be recycled just like our at-home capsules can be.
