Panera Bread announced Wednesday that it’s phasing out its highly caffeinated “Charged Lemonade” drinks that have been blamed for the deaths of at least two people. It’s official: Panera is dropping the controversial Charged Lemonade from its menus.The flavor of pink lemonade is usually overwhelmingly lemon. Most pink lemonades, whether store-bought or homemade, don’t taste too different from their yellow counterparts.I was shocked and saddened to be informed by the Schweppes Consumer relations that Pink lemonade has been discontinued due to low consumer demand. I, as the consumer and a lover of pink lemonade vow to do everything in my power to ensure pink lemonade is back on our shelves for everyone to enjoy!
