A: You can, the second will be more weak than the first. I have quite often used the pod twice in on american size coffee cup to make a large cup of more american style coffee. Those cups to me taste like similiar to the coffee I have gotten from some of the other machines.There are several types of machines used to make coffee pods. Each one of these machines has different specifications and features. Some are for regular coffee only, while some machines are for coffee pods only. In my product testing, I found the Nespresso Vertuo Plus to be the best single-serve coffee maker in terms of size, price, functionality, durability, and versatility, but some models, including the Vertuo Next, can also brew an 18-ounce carafe full of coffee from a single pod. I have one and love it. You get points for the boxes of pods so I got 6 free boxes after about a year of use. The espresso is not the best, so if that’s the only thing you were interested in then maybe there’s better options. The latte type drinks and dark roast are very good.
