They are known as Munchkins. Acadians and French-speaking Quebecers use the term “trou de beigne” while English Canadians prefer to speak of “timbits”. Timbits is the most common here in Quebec/ Canada but some people call them donut holes or trou de beigne which in French is also a euphemism for an anal orifice. Timbits ! Technically that’s just the brand name though) if you were to buy them from a baker or grocery store they would be called donut holes.
