LWR Mission Quilts should measure approximately 60” x 80”. This size best serves adult recipients and children as they grow older. Please donate only 60” x 80” quilts. The ultimate purpose of a quilt is to provide warmth, so please choose your fabrics and filler accordingly. What are the standard dimensions of a lap quilt? Most lap quilts measure about 50” x 65” (127 cm x 165 cm), offering ideal coverage without being bulky. Smaller versions (40” x 50”) and larger ones (60” x 70”) are also standard, depending on preference.

Twin is typically 72” x 90”, full is 80” x 90”, queen is 90-95” x 90-95”, and king is larger than 100”. That said, everyone has different preferences for how much overhang they want. Note, the king quilt is wider than a queen quilt, however the length will remain the same. A queen bed doona measures 210×210 while a king bed doona is wider by 30cm, so 240x210cm, but again as per above, lenth is the same.
