Where did the name Scooter’s Coffee come from? Our co-founder’s daughter was nicknamed “Scooter” and when naming the company, “Scooter’s” became the favorite. It fit well with our mission to keep customers happy by helping them “scoot in and scoot out” quickly. After slipping and falling outside of a Scooter’s Coffee shop, Dennis Bradford sued Scooter’s Coffee, LLC 1 and the owner of the shopping center, Sherwood Forest Company, bringing premises-liability tort claims.
