The name Zarraffa’s (zar-raf-fas) comes from the Arabic word ‘Zarafa’, meaning ‘Giraffe’, and was inspired by the Masai Giraffe that typically inhabits the savannahs of Kenya and Ethiopia, the origin of coffee. All of our blends and origins, characteristics and roasting profiles were developed by the founders of Zarraffa’s and took years to perfect.
