Simply mix the cleaning product with warm water and soak your portafilter and baskets for 30 minutes, making sure to rinse thoroughly afterward.Cleaning tablets function in conjunction with your coffee machine’s cleaning programme. You place a cleaning tablet in the machine’s brewing group, and then activate the automatic cleaning programme. This process dissolves the tablet and flushes it through the pipes where greasy coffee passes.Remove the spent espresso from your portafilter and wipe and purge the steam wand after each use. A full cleaning with Cafiza should be done once/week. Once/month, check the water tank for chemical build up and descale as needed.
How do I use Cafiza correctly?
All you need to do is use 1 Cafiza Tablet for every 16 ounces of hot water. Put your parts in there, let them soak for 30 minutes, discard the Cafiza water, and give them one more good rinse with hot water, and they’ll be ready as well. Pour 1/2 teaspoon (3g) of Cafiza® powder on 2l of water – directly into the water tank. Start the coffee machine, wait until the liquid enters each container of the coffee machine and stop the coffee machine for 30 minutes. What can Cafiza clean?
Cafiza is used to back flush espresso machines, both home & commercial. It can also be used to clean airpots, urns, and brewers. If Cafiza2 is a larger grain size it may not flow though the small bleed hole in the pump system.
