How to calibrate a digital coffee scale?
Step 1: You should make sure that your scale is placed on a flat, even surface and that you have some certified calibration weights. Step 2: Turn your scale on to its calibration mode and gently place the calibration weight on top. Check the batteries: If the scale is not turning on or showing inaccurate readings, the first thing you should do is check the batteries. Make sure they are inserted correctly and have enough charge. Clean the scale: If the scale is showing inconsistent readings, it may be due to dirt or debris on the sensors. Some scales run on batteries. And while having no power can alert you to batteries that are likely dead, sometimes there can be issues with displays blinking, taking too long to display a weight, or doing other strange things. This could be the sign that your batteries are getting low, but aren’t quite dead yet.Make sure you’ve removed the plastic pull tab from the battery compartment on the back of your scale. Your scale won’t turn on until you activate the batteries. If you’ve done this and it still doesn’t work, contact us so we can help.
