After a successful incredible journey in the restaurant business, Dave, our family, and I have made the decision to close The Farm Stand Kitchen on August 1, 2024. In 2022, the building, the business, and ultimately my gut told me it was time to re-envision what Chef & the Farmer would be. So to the delight of exactly no one, I chose to close the restaurant to consider its next chapter, as well as my role in it.

Alejandro Saravia is the man behind both Farmer’s Daughters, a three-storey love letter to Gippsland at 80 Collins, and Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters, a bar at Fed square that showcases the best of the state’s food, drink and art.
