After thirty years, Specialty Coffee Expo will join other SCA trade shows by rebranding as World of Coffee, with the first North American event under this name set to take place April 10-12, 2026 in San Diego. The final event under the Specialty Coffee Expo name will take place in Houston from April 25-27, 2025. Who won the World Coffee Championship in 2025?
Australia’s own Jack Simpson of Axil Coffee, has been crowned the 2025 World Barista Champion in Milan at HOSTMilan. This win solidifies Jack as one of specialty coffee’s greats by consistently representing Australia on the competition stage, winning the title of Australian Barista Champion for 3 years running.
