Do Costa recycle their cups?
Cup recycling We encourage our customers to recycle any paper takeaway cup via one of our 2,700+ stores up and down the country. And we’re not precious about the brand of disposable cup you bring to us either. Even if it’s not a Costa Coffee branded cup, we’ll take care of it and ensure its recycled. While some communities do recycle materials like paper coffee cups, they’re very rare. And only getting rarer. Unfortunately, there’s just not much of a market for them, which means soda fountain cups, coffee cups, and those little sippy cups your dentist gives you all end up getting landfilled.
Why are Costa cups so big?
The GIANT Costa Coffee Cup was used as part of a nationwide brand relaunch as Coffee Nation changed their brand name to Costa Express, and with so many locations for activation across the UK and Ireland, they need A LOT of GIANT cups! We designed, manufactured and installed around 3000 GIANT Costa Express coffee cups! Costa Coffee has the most number of locations with 16,125 locations across 6 countries. Costa Store has 2,601 and Starbucks has 1,320 locations in the UK.
