Is a caravan a chain?
The chain now operates nine all-day dining restaurants, three brew bars and a coffee roastery in North London. Its first opening outside London was in Manchester last year, and the brand has further expansion planned for 2025. Laura Harper-Hinton told the Northern Restaurant & Bar show in Manchester she was aiming to build a lasting business with Caravan and “not grow too quickly”. Caravan was founded in 2010 and employs 550 people across its coffee roastery and restaurants, which number eight in London and one in Manchester.
