What are the two buttons on Nespresso?
The two buttons on the right make Lungo and Espresso and the 2 buttons on the left make Latte macchiato and cappuccino. You can use the instructions below to set the cup size of your Lungo and Espresso as it suits you. Make sure the machine is turned on and the water container is full. On a Nespresso® U model, there are three different buttons / cup sizes to choose from – Lungo, Espresso or Ristretto. We recommend a cup size of 100 ml for a Lungo, 40 ml for an Espresso and 25 ml for a Ristretto.

You may also refer to the product information sticker on the back of the machine, where you should find the Type and Model numbers. The serial number has 19 digits and starts with 21. You will find the serial number (according to the machine model) on the drip tray, underneath the machine beneath the barcode and/or on the machine’s reverse side on a silver sticker.
Why has my Nespresso stopped working?
Check the water tank: ensure it is filled to the brim and positioned correctly. Insufficient water or improper placement can prevent your nespresso machine from brewing coffee. Verify the pod and machine: ensure that you have inserted a fresh nespresso pod and that the machine is closed and securely locked. Possible solutions check if the espresso machine is securely plugged into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Check to see if the main power on/off switch is turned on. If you have a circuit breaker box, then make sure the circuit is closed.
Why is my Nespresso blinking and not brewing?

Make sure when locking it, to push the lever all the way to the left until it clicks. Empty water tank: Make sure the water tank has enough water before starting brewing. Light blinks while machine is running If there is no intention to clean, descale, or empty the system, then push the button to stop the machine. If the machine is still blinking, exit descaling mode by holding the button for at least 7 seconds or refer to next section. If problem persists, call Nespresso.
