How do you run a cleaning cycle on Jura?
JURA automatic coffee machines have integrated rinsing and cleaning programmes, which are automatically displayed by the machine. When a programme is started at the touch of a button, the user is prompted to add the cleaning tablet. Keep in mind that you only have to descale your JURA machine once every 2 years if you use the JURA water filter. The JURA S8 will indicate it when it’s time to descale the machine. Is Jura self-cleaning?
Every automatic machine from JURA has a tried-and-tested, zero-maintenance brewing unit with self-cleaning at the touch of a button. Integrated rinsing and cleaning programmes reliably remove coffee fats at 80 °C, from the patented brewing unit through to the coffee spout. When you clean your machine, you can effectively remove these impurities. It’s a good idea to clean the coffee carafe with soap and water after every use, and deep clean your machine with a cleaning solution roughly once a month. The purpose of descaling is different. The goal is to remove mineral buildup.Empty the coffee carafe and clean out the filter. Then add white vinegar and water to the coffee maker. If your coffee maker has a clean function, use this function to run the most effective clean cycle.Run the coffee maker through two complete brew cycles to flush the unit after descaling. Use a full carafe of fresh cold water each time.Even though Jura machines come with built-in water filters to reduce limescale, mineral deposits can still build up over time, especially if you’re using hard water.
