Is Bellarom coffee any good?
Described as a “full flavoured instant coffee”, the Bellarom Rich Roast instant coffee that retails for £1. Lidl is marketed as a four out of five rating for strength, but I have to disagree with this. The lack of scent upon opening was disappointing, and the resulting brew was decidedly insipid. Lidl Coffee It’s rated as nine out of 10 for strength but I found it lacked much aroma when I broke the seal. And, upon adding a heaped teaspoon to a mug, I found it was pretty bland. Whilst I liked the fact there was no bitterness, I really couldn’t get much of a coffee flavour either.
Are Lidl pods compatible with Nespresso?

Are Lidl coffee pods any good?
Taste-wise, Lidl’s strength 10 Nespresso compatible capsules were definitely more toned down on the bitterness front. Despite being a little more watery, it also produced a similarly deep, though more balanced, flavour. There are many different types of coffee capsules available on the market other than ESE & Senseo pods, such as Nespresso, Tassimo, and Dolce Gusta. In terms of price and taste, there is a premium price to be paid on most capsule systems, and we consider the flavour of coffee produced from an ESE pod to be far better.
