How do I operate my Keurig coffee maker?

Can you use a Keurig without a filter?
Yes, you can use your Keurig without the filter. The filter is primarily used to improve the taste and quality of the water, so using the machine without it won’t harm the Keurig. However, you might want to use filtered or bottled water to ensure the best flavor for your coffee. Keurig® has made it quite a bit easier for us by designing filter cartridges to be used with tap water. They are designed to fit right in the water reservoir of your unit. It is optional however, to choose best water to use in a Keurig® coffee maker first.Keurig recommends using bottled or filtered water. We do not recommend using distilled or reverse osmosis water. Note that water quality can vary from place to place.
Can Keurig K-Elite auto brew?
A: Our K-Elite coffee maker features an auto-on setting to set the exact time your brewer turns on and heats up every morning. It does not automatically brew. We hope this is helpful! Auto Off automatically turns your brewer off 2 hours after the last brew for energy savings. You can also program your brewer to shut off in 15 minute increments after your last brew, or remain on all the time.
Why is my Keurig Elite not brewing?
If your brewer isn’t working properly, it might need to be reset, or the water reservoir could have been connected incorrectly. For your Keurig to return to its optimal condition, you will also likely require a descaling process that eliminates any mineral buildup from the tank and internal tubes. The most obvious sign that there’s something wrong with your Keurig is that the brew takes a lot longer than usual. Instead of a minute or two, it now takes five or more minutes to fill your cup. This is not normal and could indicate that certain internal components have worn out.If you consistently find that your coffee tastes weak and watery, or if your Keurig is prone to leaking, it’s best that you look into getting a replacement ASAP.
