Very fun to stop by the original Starbucks location near Pike’s Place market. The line was long, but we found it did move fast (particularly with the host managing the line at the front). Good display of merchandise only available at this original location. The city served as the foundation on which the company laid its emphasis on high-end coffee, environmental sustainability, as well as its establishment of a welcoming culture. Starbucks is still true to its Seattle roots, with its flagship Pike Place Market shop a reminder that it is a home-grown company.In addition, the main tourist attractions like Pike Place Market, Seattle Center, the Space Needle, and the waterfront are safe to explore.
