Is the ICO free?
You must pay a data protection fee to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you’re a business, organisation or sole trader processing personal data, unless you’re exempt. Check if you need to pay the data protection fee before you start. It is for all organisations (we use this term to include all data controllers, including sole traders and companies) that need to pay a fee to the ICO. You’ll need to complete the form in one session, so we suggest you get everything you need before you start.
